Went to MITP saturday / sunday and took the scamp up the strip a few times.
Best time was 17.48 seconds for the 1/4 mile which was just middle of all of the Aseries mini's really.

You should take the orange one as well, James. The engine in that did Santa Pod in 15.3 (when it was in my 205) and that was before I treated it to the rebuild. Very Happy

I can just imagine Robs run....

Pitbull is on the line.....
Lights change to Green & we're off....
Tyre's smoking & head up to the red line, smooth slick gear change into 2nd...
Red line approaching & another smooth gear change into 3rd...
Just getting up to 4000 rpm & Pitbull see's the Freelander Recovery wagon...
Pitbull starts to foam at the radiator & heads off lane towards the Freelander....

The rest isn't a very pretty sight....Hehe

No, the idea at Santa Pod is to 'go' when the lights turn amber. They change again so quickly, by the time you've actually moved they'll be green. Wink
